Drawing Posters to Spread Awareness
Important Steps to Follow:
•        Make the poster in a box.
•        Write a catchy and relevant heading on the top. It may be a slogan, quotation or brief sentence.
•        Mention all the relevant details coherently. Purpose, programme, date, time, venue, people concerned should be mentioned clearly.
•        Use proper illustration to make your message meaningful and interesting.
•        If possible try to make simple drawings, caricatures or illustrations to make the poster eye-catching.
•        Use rich language and expression.
•        Don’t miss the name of the issuing authority to mention.

Draw a poster on the importance of cleanliness in our life.
Cleanliness is Next to Godliness

Keep your school, home, and surrounding clean.    

Don’t throw garbage at open places.

Use dustbin to dispose waste.

  My Mother at Sixty Six The poet is driving from her parents home to Cochin by car, her mother by her side—sleeping – open mouthed very pale, colourless and frail-like a dead body indicating that her end was near. The poet looks at her and feels intense pain and agony to realize that soon death will cast her mother from her. His family like many other families of rag pickers lives in Seemapuri. They do not have any identification other than a ration card. The children do not go to school and they are excited at the prospect of finding a coin or even a ten rupee note for scrounging in the garbage. It is the only way of earning a living. The writer is pained to see Saheb-e-alam losing the spark of childhood and roaming barefoot with his friends. Later on Saheb works in a tea stall and is paid Rs. 800 per month. He sadly realizes that he is no longer a free bird and master of his own will.
